Sunday guest star: Erin Quinn!

Welcome special guest star, Erin Quinn!

Hi Cheyenne, thank you so much for inviting me to be on your blog! I’m going to take a page from Jennifer Ashley’s book and introduce myself and then tell you what to do to win some of my books!

I’m Erin Quinn and I write dark paranormal for the thinking reader and light romcom for the reader who just wants to have fun.

First I’m going to tell you about the romcom, because as it happens, I have a new one that just released yesterday! A Little Bit of Sugar is a Thanksgiving story—just in time for the holidays—and it’s the first in the Snowed in and Snuggled Up Holiday Trio—a fun little set of novellas set in the wintry town of Plymouth Rock, Colorado.

Here’s a little about them.

A Little Bit of Sugar by Erin Quinn

JT Winchester doesn’t believe there’s magic in Plymouth Rock, Colorado. For him, it’s ErinQuinn_ALittleBitofSugar_HRalways represented a cage he couldn’t wait to escape. Yet he’s never forgotten the girl next door who’d captured his heart as a young man. His love for her had been so all consuming and terrifying, that when the chance came to escape both Plymouth Rock and her, he took it.

Madison Lane may be the girl next door, but she has big dreams. The Internet has given her small town business international exposure, and she lives her life the way she wants. Yet something is missing, and no amount of pretending it’s anything other than JT Winchester has ever worked. Now, JT is back in town for Thanksgiving and Madison is reunited with the man who once set her heart and body aflame. They’ve both changed, but one thing has stayed the same—they can’t resist one another.

When the two find themselves snowed in at the cabin JT’s grandfather built, the time for running comes to an end. JT is about to discover he has a lot to be thankful for, like being trapped with the girl who got away . . . like getting a second chance to make things right.  And Madison is ready to be brave and get what she wants, the man she’s loved since she was young. For JT and Madison, the magic of Plymouth Rock is about to change their lives.

Book Two in the trio is:

A Dash of Spice by Calista Fox

Scout Winchester is looking to re-ignite his career. A little sizzle in his love life wouldn’t hurt, either!

After an entire lifetime of preparing to be the next NHL great, Scout reached the pinnacleCalistaFox_ADashofSpice800 in hockey by 29—then hit rock bottom, following a horrific car accident. He walked away from the hospital; but residual injuries forced him to walk away from the spotlight. Returning to Plymouth Rock, Colorado as a hometown hero is all well and dandy, but Scout has broken family fences to mend, job offers to consider…and a raven-haired beauty from his past who deserves the ultimate decision from him.

Ciara St. James still hasn’t found her place in the world. How long can she keep running from her past?

Not dealt the best hand from the get-go, Ciara survives on instinct, personal convictions and an adventurous spirit. She’s learned how to make the best of every disastrous situation, but deep down, there are past pains she hides from everyone… Except for Scout. When they’re suddenly reunited for the Thanksgiving holiday and are snowed in at Win Creek Cabin, Ciara realizes the time has come to stop running. To stop hiding. To snuggle up with the only man she’s ever loved and face her demons while he faces his—and hope they both come out unscathed.

And Book Three is:

And Everything Nice by Mary LeoMaryLeo_AndEverythingNice1400

All Hamilton Winchester ever wanted was Gaby Venti, but Gaby Venti never wanted to be tied down to any man . . . especially a man from Plymouth Rock, Colorado, the hometown she left. But when she finds herself snowed in by a force of nature, she quickly learns that Hamilton Winchester isn’t just ‘any man,’ and Plymouth Rock is much more than simply her hometown.

And while I’m at it, I must mention the other holiday trios available now:

Secret Santas Holiday Collection

Welcome to North Pole, Maine, where magic is in the air.

Love With a Twist ~ Valentine Romance Collection

Fate has a way of playing with the heart . . . .

**News flash: All three Love with a Twist novellas are currently free wherever books are sold!

And now, to my dark paranormal which is, basically, just that . . . dark . . . sometimes scary . . . and anything but normal. I have two series at the moment: The Mists of Ireland (Time Travel set in Ireland) and The Beyond (think Supernatural Meets Joe Black).

You can find out more about me and my books

Now, onto the prizes. Tell which kind of story you prefer—one that twists and turns and makes you guess what comes next, or one that hits your comfort zone and carries you along from there. I’ll pick three winners who can have their choice of any of my back list.

So, talk to me!!!!

About cheymccray

Cheyenne McCray is an award winning, New York Times and USA Today Best Selling author who is a rare native Arizonan but refuses to be put behind glass as an endangered species. In her spare time she loves to torture characters--whether they're misbehaving or not—and kill off deserving individuals. She also totally gets off on blowing things up. All fictionally, of course. She'd rather chew glass than write sweet and sugary. Give her a hideous demon or particularly nasty villain to slay any day. Cheyenne enjoys creating stories of love, suspense, and redemption—in some cases. She enjoys building worlds her readers can get lost in. Hopefully they'll find their way out, but stranger things have been known to happen. If you would like to find out what odd and unusual things Cheyenne is up to these days, cruise her website any time, take a look at the bizarrely normal yet strange FAQs, and even drop her a line or two. Just not too hard—those things hurt. You might even learn a few things about that kinky author, Jaymie Holland. (Just don't tell Cheyenne's mom.

  1. I like the continuous sagas as long as each couple has their storyline complete by the end of the book and the next book takes on another couple who appeared in the book. I do not like cliffhanger although if I am hooked on a story I will anxiously wait for the books in the series.

  3. All of your books sound so interesting. I love paranormal. Twists, turns, engaging my brain. Well to be honest engaging my brain is a must for anything I read, but I love paranormal and something thst keeps me wondering what comes next.

  4. I noticed this holidays series on Facebook. I love holiday books! The series looks really good. It all depends on my mood and what I’m feeling that day. Sometimes I just want a comfortable, easy to read book and or times I want to find out who’s doing what along with the characters.

  5. What fun seeing people I know and like in a gathering as spirited as this one! Sorry I missed the kickoff yesterday, but getting to read all the comments makes the delay worthwhile. 🙂

Congratulations on the new series — it looks fabulous!
